The Maison de l'Inde is now going through a process of renovation to ensure better security of the residents and improve living conditions.

  • The electrical installations have been redone to follow latest security norms.

  • The Salle Indira Gandhi is completely renovated.

  • A video-camera has been installed to check on the unauthorised persons.

  • The salle Indira Gandhi and the corridors of each floor have been made fire and smoke proof.

  • The number of exits from the building has been increased to follow security norms.

  • The kitchens have been enlarged with proper security.

  • A seperate unit accomodating the computer and the library facilities has been set up.

  • The hi-tech WIFI is introduced for the whole building.

  • The facade has been renovated.
